Group Therapy
Group therapy is a safe and confidential learning space. In group, you will develop a deeper understanding of yourself by exploring and sharing your feelings. It is safe way to build your tools to better understand how to relate with others. You and vulnerabilities. and deepening your learning of how you relate to others, work with difficult situations or life problems.
Joining a group of strangers may sound intimidating at first, but group therapy provides benefits that individual therapy does not. Unlike the issues you may have within your biological family, work group, or friendships, group therapy is a place where no one has an agenda for you. In group, you will not get negative consequences for discovering your authentic voice.
My groups meet once each week for 90 minutes. I lead, moderate and protect members. We have an environment where trust is built with other group members over the course of the confidential sessions; as each individual member grows, they contribute synergistically to the growth of the group as-a-whole.
When ready, group therapy can speed up your learning and make a direct impact to improve your daily interactions with others. For those in economic transition, this can be a cost-effective alternative to individual therapy sessions.
