Therapy is your time for discovery. Before our first session, you will have a chance to tell me about yourself, your life and the results you want to gain from therapy. We will be collaborative as we decide your path of learning and growth. Together, we will set your intentions for learning and create customized approach that is both compassionate and challenging. I will help
you to better understand yourself and how to be in your relationships with family, friends, co- workers and community.
There is no, one right starting point. I have helped my clients learn new skills in many areas of their lives, including:
- Managing anxiety and tension but understanding the causes and developing coping strategies.
- Finding relief from depression, negative thinking and/or emotional suffering.
- Overcoming PTSD or trauma. Coping with your grief by finding ways to process your feelings and pain.
- Providing guidance during significant life transition and helping you to feel “un-stuck.”
